A: A complete installation of the PC version of FIFA Football 2005.
Q: What about hardware requirements?
A: If your PC can run FIFA 2005, it can run Creation Centre 2005.
Q: How do I create or modify a team?
A: Before you start creating new teams, it is recommended that you add news teams in leagues that are not part of the Career Mode.
For example, add your new teams in the Rest of World league or create your own new league. Create/Edit a Team: Select the league you wish to add your new team into. In this example we will use the Rest of World (RoW). Click on the Rest of World league and then click on the Add New Team button.
To edit an existing team, select a team for any league, select the team you wish to edit and click on the Edit Team button. Use the Remove Team button to remove a Team from the league. You have the options of delete the team completely from the database.
Q: How do I create a new League?
A: To create a new league, click on the New League button which can be found at the top of the Creation Centre’s menu bar. Once a new league has been created you may start adding your own custom teams here. make sure that your new league is of level 4 or 5. Levels 1, 2 and 3 are for leagues that have league schedules like the English Premier League or the German Bundesliga 2 and should not be used for customed Leagues.
Q: Can you import/export teams into FIFA 2005 with the Creation Centre?
A: Yes you can.
- To export teams, simply select the team you wish to export and click on the Export button on the top menu bar. The team will be exported in a *.c05 format.
- In the Export window, select the team(s) you want to export by checking the checkbox next to the team name. You can select to include the team’s assets in the package. Click on the down arrow button in the “Include Assets” column to display a dropdown list. Check the kind of assets you want to include and click on the arrow button again. Do not click on the red “x” button unless you want to cancel your selections. Once a team has been exported, you can distribute them to your friends or post them on the internet to share with other FIFA gamers.
- To Import these files, use the Open feature. A Team window will be displayed with the contents of the file. To import a team into a league, select the league you wish to add/replace click on the Import button. Select the league you want to import to in the League Selection dialog box.
- You can also use the “Import” button on a League window to import teams. This button only enabled for non-career leagues like Rest of the World or International or any new leagues that you created. The disadvantage of using this method is that you can’t view and change the teams details before they are imported.
NOTE: Remember to hit the Save button after importing to save the changes to the database.
Q: Which graphic formats are supported?
A: Bitmap *.bmp images can be used with the Creation Centre. You can also import FSH format.
Q: Now that I have created my new team or league how to I import graphics like team logos?
A: Under the Assets tab of each team you will find two fields labeled “Front End Team Logo” and “Ingame Team Logo”. These logos are used for the team selection menu and during game play. The images you import should be 128x128 pixels in size. When creating a team logo, make the team badge no larger than 98x98. The background/canvas however must be 128x128. For all Front end logos, try placing the image in the top left corner. Ingame logos should be centered. This will give your logos a better look and feel in the game. Remember that the Creation Centre will always use the color of the top-left corner pixel as the transparent color in game.
NOTE: The Creation Centre will use the first color pixel as the transparency color. This will replace all the pixels in the bitmap of this color with a transparent color in game.
For FSH images, their original transparency settings are retained. Regarding league logos, the same principles above apply. To change or add a league logo, select the league you wish to edit and click on the Import Logo tab.
Q: How do I import team kits?
A: Home, Away, Goalkeeper and 3rd kits can be added by selecting the Kits tab under the team you wish to edit as long as the image is in *.bmp or *.fsh format. You can also add Training kits.
Q: What are mini kits?
A: Mini kits are a preview image of the team jersey. The mini kits are also 128x128 pixels in size and should be created using the same transparency as team logos. To add mini kits, select a team and click on the Kits tab. The first field is reserved for the mini kits.
Q: Does the Creation Centre support 2GK kits?
A: Yes as long as they are in *.bmp or *.fsh format.
Q: What is the Number ID Manager under the Kits tab?
A: The number ID manager displays the color and type of font exists in the game.
Q: Can banners and flags be imported into the game?
A: Yes. Select the team you wish to add banners to and click on the Assets tab. Under the Assets you will see the team logos and Supporter’s Banners. To add new banners, click on the folder icon. Note that the top row is used for banners while the bottom row is reserved for flags. Each banner should be 128x64 pixels and in *.bmp format.
Q: How do I transfer players?
A: Players can be transferred into another team by “drag & drop” into another rosters team. Hold the CTRL key down whilst drag-n-dropping will add the player to the destination team without removing him from the original team (eg. From a club team to an international team). If the CTRL is not held down then the player is removed from the original team. You can also use the Transfer button in the Team window.
Q: How do I add chants?
A: Chants can be added to any team under the Chants tab. You can add existing chants to a team by clicking the “Add Chant” button. A new chant is added to the list. Select the chant type and the chant name from the dropdown lists. You can also import new chant files in WAV, MP3 and ASF (EA) format. Click the Import Chant button and specify the file and the chant name to be created.
Q: What is the Jukebox feature?
A: The Jukebox allows you to replace the current FIFA 2005 sound track with your favourite mp3’s.
Q: Can I modify my team formation and lineup?
A: Yes. This can be done by clicking on a given team and selecting the Formation Tab. Here you can not only change your team formation and lineup but change your kick takers, team captain etc.
Note: If you have created a new team, make sure this section is completed. Team Captain, Free Kick, Left & Right Corner kick and Penalty kick players should be defined.
Q: Can I add more teams into leagues like the German Bundesliga 2?
A: It is not recommended you do so. Adding more teams may cause the game to crash especially in the Career Mode. The best solution here would be to create a new league, for example "Rest of Germany", and place your new team(s) here.
