New CEP website on sweetpatch
I've finally managed to keep updated the new cep website that you can find on www.sweetpatch.tv at this link. On sweetpatch.tv you will find all the latest news about the incoming releases and all the details about the CEP project. See ya there then! :)
Maybe not all the CEP user know that since this summer all the CEP informations are on the new sweetpatch website: www.sweetpatch.tv, where thanks to Dave Witts I've been able to write few news about the CEP development as I'm still not able to update the new CEP minisite and most of all because I've been very busy during this autumn. Anyway since September I've worked with the collaboration of some updaters to update the rosters for the new season, to update the kits to the present season and increasing the huge CEP Miniheads Addon version addon that will cover almost all the main CEP leagues.
The difficulty in producing a CEP 2008 version has been of course the new format of the kits: at the beginning of November I've found a technical solution to use the fifa 2007 kits inside the game, and so the loooong process of conversion started. During these weeks I've completed both the final 2007 CEP version and the first one for fifa 2008 and I'm actually in a short phase of testing. Basically I did not added any new leagues, as I wanted to concentrate on update and precision of the rosters and as I realized how hard is to find precise information about the teams of some remote leagues. So the last new is that new CEP 2007 and CEP 2008 are both ready, that during these holidays I should be able to upload them and that you will able to play again with the most ambitious extension to your favorite EA game. After this first release (that will be the CEP 5.0 version) I'll work on the winter transfer market, on the leagues that still need to be updated (you will find information about leagues update status in the Join CEP section of THIS website), and on the new version of CEP Miniheads addon, then together with Esterry we'll start the new section of CEP addons: the stadiums addon, that will be another ambitious step in upgrading and expanding your fifa. Actually I am able to update THIS website, and is here that you will find the last information: I hope to update soon all the sections of this website, waiting to have access to the sweetpatch.tv minisite too. Stay tuned here anyway for news about the release of the patches!
Compilation of the Month News - 2nd collaboration between Perplekks and Wepeeler
The FIFA gaming community had better brace themselves for the much anticipated 2nd collaboration between Perplekks and Wepeeler.
The 1st collaboration was a major success, but the 2 FIFA gamers have RE-UNITED to shock the FIFA gaming community once again! This time, they took it personal and the end result was Dynamite.
Get ready for the official release on Thursday night/Friday morning (Just in time for the official release of the new Sweetpatch.TV site!)
FIFA 07 News - First Season of XLEAGUE.TV FIFA 07 League Completed
Last weekend saw the first XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 League come to an end. Their most active league, FIFA 07 saw the final 8 players fight it out in the play-offs, for a first prize of £500 and runner up prize of £100.
2nd place contender Dazfeeder returned to their studio’s as well as 1st place Sonman, ready to prove why he had made it to the top of the league.
Although many expected favourite Jay Buchanan to reign triumphant, the pressure was too much, as he fell at the first hurdle to 3rd place Benzilla. Both very talented FIFA 07 players yet from different classes of play. Buchanan a deadly finesse specialist, the other completely against the use of the finesse shot.
The whole day saw upsets and favourites fail to impress, you could feel the nerves in the air, fingers twitching. Benzilla managed to make it to the final, defeating another favourite, Sonny ‘Sonman’ Walton in a nail-biting semi-final, trading goals off each other.
The hero of the day came in the form of none other than Darren ‘Dazfeeder’ Tee, giving out a 5-1 drubbing at the first stage and steadily working his way to the final, which he convincingly won against the most improved player in the league, Benzilla.
With the 2nd season now in full swing, we can only expect more of the same, if not better, as all players continue to improve.
Just a quick update on the situation here at CEP: I'm waiting to receive the material from the many updaters we gathered around the world to update the leagues to the 2007/08 season. In the meanwhile I'm personally working on updating the leagues that already started with the new rosters, while I'm updating the rosters I'm creating the miniheads for the teams I update so you will find more detail in the next version of the CEP; you can find the leagues updated in the Status page.
I plan to release an 07/08 update during the month of September/October, if you want to participate to the process of updating please contact me at fifaock@yahoo.it. With the next release we should provide the new version of Kit Addon too, with the kits updated to the 2008 season. And of course, this new version will be the basis for the 2008 version of CEP.
The scores are very realistic. Most games will be in the range of 1-0, 2-0, 2-1 etc. Though on occasion you can crush the enemy, or get crushed by them, which happens in real life. Remember Man-UTD vs. AS Roma in last year’s Champions League tournament?
The shot mechanic has improved and sometimes you will barely miss the opportunity to score and then you will want to attack, convert the chance and get the goal. And once you score, man is that a relief. If you still think NK's updates have got the WE3 shot mechanic, then forget WE3 and try WE5! Much more work has been done to improve in this area of play!
NK says: You’re right; a lot of work went into the shot mechanic to ensure gamers that the last update for FIFA 07™ would be the best and most realistic. The shot mechanic was at the top of the list.
Ball physics are sharper. For example; Cross too hard and your player will fail the trap and the ball will roll out of the pitch. This adds unpredictability to the physics.
NK says: Aaar yes, the ball physics. It’s a footballers dream to receive a perfect long-pass from open play and catch it at the tip of his toe, only to find the defence don’t want the ball and wish him all the best as they wave him on...and then he wakes up. Sadly, this didn’t used to be a dream for the players’ of FIFA 07™, but now they can get real! Sorry guys, you better learn how to pass.
Remember in the EURO 2004 when Beckham missed 3 penalties by shooting the ball over the net? Well, players don't miss THAT badly in WE5, but sometimes, players do make mistakes and remember, Ronaldinho is not perfect, so sometimes he will miss as well!
NK says: And too right he should miss! Just because you hold down the finesse button, doesn’t mean it’s only the keeper who can stop it from there on. There’s a lot more pressure in WE5 and you’ve got to have the space and time to perform!
NK sent me an exclusive play-test version of the latest beta, so it will still be improved!
Without these updates from NK, FIFA 07™ would have been nothing!
FIFA 08™ is close to being released, so you can also expect to see NK’s updates for FIFA 08™!

FIFA 07 News - Second Season of XLEAGUE.TV FIFA 07 League
While the first season of the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 League enters the play-off stages, the second season has already begun.
With players eager to get a big point gap early on, play has already kicked off with new players taking the lead:
Ricky Lait aka hammere13 has managed to keep hold of the top spot so far,
with Ben Reed aka Benzilla following close behind him.
Sonny Walton aka sonman is pacing himself in joint third place along with H3 Tezza. Sonman finished last season in first place and is recognised as being a strong contender for repeating the same success this season.
However could there be a new player on the horizon willing to challenge for the title? We have certainly seen talented players in the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament but whether they can transfer their skills remains to be seen.

FIFA 07 News - XLEAGUE.TV Tournament Final Round-Up
Last weekend saw the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament come to a climatic end. Eight of the top Xbox 360 FIFA 07 players battled it out in the hope of becoming the first official XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament Champion. Pride was not the only prize for the winner to take home, with a brand new Playstation 3 and a selection of 8 games courtesy of EA up for grabs as the tournament grand prize.
Familiar names such as Darren Tee, Jay Buchanan and Chris Bullard featured in the tournament, all big names in the FIFA 07 community, but reputation alone couldn’t guarantee these players the title. Tournament outsider Oliver Tucker won the title in dramatic fashion.
Road to the Title
Scotland’s Craig McEwan stood against Tucker in their Quarter Final clash, with Tucker beating him 2-1, a close game that could’ve gone either way.
Oliver’s semi final bout was a nail biter as he came up against High Wycombe’s Matt Laughlin, both trading goals one after another, with Oliver coming out on top with a 4-3 win after extra time.
The final saw Oliver taking on pro-gamer and XLEAGUE.TV Invitational Champion Chris Bullard, with Chris proving his credentials taking a 3-1 lead by half-time with a barrage of stunning goals. Oliver displayed his resilience and battled on.
When Chris was asked to comment about his first half performance he said:
“I was 3-1 up at half time and then the cobwebs started to show in my game. Oliver scored from a corner, from a position I forgot to cover, which I had learnt about from playing at the top level 6 months ago.”
Oliver stepped up his attack, changing his tactics pulling 2 more goals back, and at 3-3 we were all expecting penalties, but in the dying moments he broke through the defence and slotted his winning goal into the net in the dying moments of extra time. Chris Bullard failed to reply, crumpling to defeat.
Like a true professional, Chris only had the following to say:
“After today, I met some new great people and I think I did myself proud. The amount of games I have played doesn’t compare to some of the guys at the tournament today. So I will take the 2nd place with a bit of pride knowing I have done better than expected. Still a bit gutted about being so close to a great prize.”
XLEAGUE.TV'sFIFA 07 Tournament has paved the way for future competitive play; and we can only expect as much heated action for the other tournaments and playoffs.
FIFA 07 News - XLEAGUE.TV League Play-Offs Kick Off
The first XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 League has now run its course and is now entering into the play-off stages.
Players that have qualified for the play-offs include league leader Sonny Walton aka Sonman. Sonman, the favourite to take the league title has played consistently well this season. He will be looking to maintain this form and follow it into the play-offs, although fully aware that a slip up will cost him the title, we suspect that Sonman will mean business.
Fresh from taking his FIFA 07 Tournament crown, Oliver Tucker aka Ollx has also qualified and will be facing off against Sam Sidley aka H3 Tezza. Oliver Tucker will be a strong contender to take the crown; he has already showcased his ability to handle the pressure of tournament play after coming back from 3-1 down versus the UK’s #1 FIFA player, Chris Bullard in the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament final.
Following on from his early defeat in the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament, Darren Tee aka Dazfeeder, looks set to put things right in the play-offs and regain his earlier league glory.
The play-offs look set to be a scorcher with the cream of the FIFA 07 league battling it out for top crown and prize.
The play-offs will kick off on Wednesday 25th at 9.30pm and you will be able to see them soon on Sky channel 279.

The World Cyber Games is your answer and there isn't any other competition that can boast such impressive sounding stats.

Jay Buchanan is enjoying a terrific run of form during this tournament. Hitting double figures yet again sending Paul Clarkson aka MasterClarky back to school in a 12 - 3 annihilation.
Oliver Tucker aka Ollx, who earlier in the competition scored 29 goals in one game, went home the victor in a much harder fought Round 2 match.
As did pre-tournament favourite and Invitational Champion ChrisyBullard with his 12 - 2 win against Adrian Sutcliffe aka OneWiseWolf.
Darren Tee aka Dazfeeder narrowly took a victory in a 6-5 thriller against Dale Benford aka Omarkahn.
Dazfeeder has brought in the wins during this tournament to secure his place in the Quarter Finals but does he have what it takes score against the big scorers of the tournament?
The Quarter Finals look set to be a scorcher this week with top games being played. In possibly the game of the tournament, Dazfeeder will face off against ChrisyBullard. Other matches include Jay Buchanan vs. Wayne Chattoe, RAMBO C MAC vs. Ollx and Tournament outsiders MattyL7 and CoolMichael22 will go head to head for a place in the semi finals and a chance at taking the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament Title.
All you have to do to enter is upload your favourite FIFA 07/UEFA Champions League™ 2006-2007 goals at the Sweetpatch Soccer Skills Academy on Youtube and when you name the video just add the words "Goal of the Month for July 07 - " to the start of the name. FIFA 07 News - XLEAGUE.TV Tournament Reaches Playoffs
Round 1 of the knockout stage in the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament has been played. And there have been some thrilling developments.
League title challenger Darren Tee aka Dazfeeder was able to sink his teeth into an opponent, claiming 12 goals against Darren Mclees aka mclees.
Stephen Murphy aka Smegg1980 has crashed out of the competition. Smegg1980, currently ranked 3rd in the FIFA 07 League, had a tough time getting into a game where he was completely dominated by Michael Barrett aka CoolMichael22.
With the strength of his performance against Smegg1980. Craig MacEwan aka RAMBO C MAC cruised to victory with a 16 – 1 walkover against King Mayjor.
In typical fashion, Jay Buchanan and Richard Bowen aka ROC E REDSKULL both dominated their opponents reaching double figures. ROC E REDSKULL had a relatively close game to what he has faced so far from LotsaColin, finally chasing the game down to 10 – 7.
Ollx was the highest scorer in the knockout stages so far with a 29 – 7 demolition of reaper1988.
Big games to watch out for in Round 2 are:
Dazfeeder vs. Omarkhan,
MasterClarky vs. Jay Buchanan and
ROC E REDSKULL vs. BRUTALGAMER.
Can the likes of outsiders like CoolMicahel22 and RAMBO C MAC slip under the radar and snatch the title from the pre tournament favourites? Stay tuned to teh XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament for more tournament news as the pressure builds and player’s fates are decided.
Legend: The hardest for those who love a low-score.
Advanced: Slightly easier to increase goal chance.
Intermediate: Much easier for gamers who want to score more!
EA replica: Original 07 mechanic, few changes due to new physics.
WE3 mechanic: World Evolution 3 shot mechanic.
Not only this, but World Evolution 5 will be based on real simulation passing allowing gamers to attempt to slow down the play and build-up attacks at a realistic pace. Of course difficulty level will vary this and in some cases, a World Class player will simply run for the ball as in real life instead of holding off 100% of the time to keep it authentic and let you feel the pressure!
This will possibly be the last update for 07 games.
On the side, if anyone is having problems with languages in WE4 for FIFA 07 then click here to download the language fix this will give you the screen at startup allowing you to select your language. Sorry for the mixup guys.
Darren Tee aka Dazfeeder a firm favourite for the tournament has not been playing his best football due to a lack of available opponents in his group. However he has still produced the results when needed.
Jay Buchanan has been storming through the group stages, qualifying with an impressive 40 goals under his belt and only conceding 4. Not one to be left behind Richard Bowen aka ROC E REDSKULL holds a similar score of 45 goals with 10 against. Both have led the way in Groups F & G respectively.
Round 1 matches have been scheduled, with particular games to watch between:
CoolMichael22 vs. smegg1980
benzilla vs. ChrisyBullard
OneWiseWolf vs. Antman711
The XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament looks set to heat up with some thrilling matches, so stay tuned for more tournament news as the pressure builds and player’s fates are decided.
Check out XLEAGUE.TV on Sky Channel 291 tonight where they bring you the latest FIFA 07 updates from their leagues and tournaments. It is on at regular intervals so you should be able to find a slot that suits you.
They have also added all their FIFA 07 shows aired so far and you can view them all in excellent high quality by clicking here.
The Group stage of the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament has kicked off and some thrilling matches have already taken place. It’s all still to play for though as the tournament continues.
We have already seen some thrilling play from the competitors. Many games came down to the wire with only one or two goals deciding the fate of the teams. League title challenger Darren Tee aka Dazfeeder took a narrow victory in Group A to claim the top position. Dazfeeder is one of the big favourites to make it to the final stages of the tournament.
Elsewhere, some group matches were not so hard fought. Jay Buchanan absolutely dominated Jason Gilson aka Gilly Savage in a 10 - 1 demolition in Group F. Similarly in Group C, Adrian Sutcliffe aka OneWiseWolf triumphed over his opponent Ellis Greenhill aka Mirajor2 in a 7 - 1 walkover.
It seems the top riders in the league have played strong games, however Stephen Murphy aka smegg1980 suffered a shock 4-2 defeat at the hands of Craig Burrows aka Craig Senna. This defeat serves as a reminder that even the strongest of league players can crack under the pressure’s of tournament play.
For full details on all the matches played and the group standings click here.
Registration is over. The XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament has been on the tip of everyone's tongue and the players are now gearing up for the beautiful game.
There has been a lot of speculation flying around, with pre-tournament favourites being selected by their performance in the leagues. The tournament has already had its first shock. "Where's Sonman?" has been a catchphrase coined by many in the build up, as the league leader and favourite to take the crown is missing from the tournament line up.
With the abscence of Sonny Walton AKA Sonman will this give the other players in the tournament a chance to make their mark? The FIFA 07 League this season has seen the introduction of some great new players with the likes of Darren Tee AKA Dazfeeder, Stephen Murphy AKA Smegg1980 and Ben Reed AKA Benzilla. Can they convert their league success to the tournament stage?
Even with the strongest players of the league taking part, the tournament could be heading for more upsets. Chris Bullard AKA ChrisyBullard has been lurking in the shadows for most of the season, but this could be the perfect time for him to shoot back and let the league leaders know whose boss. Bullard walked away the XLEAGUE.TV FIFA 07 Invitational Champion, proving he is no stranger to the pressures of competition play. Other players fighting for top league positions like Adrian Sutcliffe AKA OneWIseWolf have yet to prove themselves in the tournament environment. Can they hold their nerve, not only contending with the big players but also against the cameras at XLEAGUE.TV's Match arena where the finals will be played?
Pressure appears to be a big factor in affecting player's performance. Is this what will sort the men from the boys? All will soon be decided as the whistle blows to kick off the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 Tournament.

While the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 League has witnessed a dogfight at the top of the table, it appears the middle of the league is following suit. Its seems to be a case of ‘out with the old in with the new’ following the introduction of new blood into the competition. Promising players that previously showed dominance in the leader boards are sliding further down the league.
Jay Buchanan, once a permanent fixture in the top 3 of the table is now languishing in 7th. Mark Taylor AKA Original Pingu has also slipped down to 6th.
New players such as Ben Reed AKA Benzilla and Adrian Sutcliffe AKA OneWiseWolf have fought their way into the top five and like mud stains on football boots, they are proving hard to shift.
Players further down the league, such as TJG Maverick are upping their work rate to prove they can reach the high standards set by the league leaders.

FIFA 07 News - Battle at the top of FIFA 07 League
Apologies for the lack of activity over the weekend but what should have been a simple upgrade to my Broadband account turned into a 2 day nightmare. Anyway, all back to normal again now for the summer.
The three-way battle for the league top spot has made last week the most exciting week in the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 League so far. The week began with Darren Tee AKA Dazfeeder eating through the competition to come from relative obscurity to number one in the table.
However, football is a funny old game, and nothing stays the same for long. Sonman, never one to rest on his laurels, followed up his knock back with a second push to regain the top spot, and true to style, he’s managed to reclaim his lead with a 23 point margin between himself and Darren.
Smegg1980 has made a valiant fight to stay in the title race and is chasing dangerously close behind Dazfeeder. The FIFA 07 table is beginning to really heat up, and with the inclusion of new talent to the league everyday, the bookies would be unwise to firmly back an eventual champion at this early stage.
To join in on the action, simply register to XLEAGUE.TV, visit the league homepage and sign yourself up the FIFA 07 League. It’s not too late to test your skills for real.
FIFA 07 News - Dazfeeder reaches the top and is hungry for more
It was predicted by the pundits as inevitable, and now Darren Tee AKA Dazfeeder has topped the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 League. Sonny Walton AKA Sonman, who is now in second, had held the top spot for two weeks and looked almost indestructible against all competition.
However Darren has proved that hard work and determination are all that is required to knock Sonny from the top spot. The League has been changing rapidly over the past two weeks with an influx of new players helping to mix up the competition and give the stronger players a run for their money.
Signing up to XLEAGUE.TV and proving yourself against other gamers could not be easier. Simply register yourself on the site, click on the league tab, and subscribe to the FIFA 07 League to begin your route to the top. Dazfeeder will be waiting for you!
Viewers of XLEAGUE.TV will also be able watch Sonman showcasing his skills with other league members in televised FIFA 07 league games only on The Match, premiering this Saturday 30th June @ 7pm.
As you wait, a DVD will be available shortly allowing you to watch a full 20 minute game on your TV. The quality is better, the game is full of action and you will see exactly the difficulty of World Class in WE4. The match is a Semi-Final between two of the biggest International teams.
Goal of the Month News - Have you scored any great goals during June?

FIFA 07 News - Drama unfolds as league favourites are toppled
Darren Tee AKA Dazfeeder is seemingly unstoppable with an amazing run of form in the XLEAGUE.TVFIFA 07 League. Playing at the top of his game, he is holding an outstanding win percentage of 94%. Darren has pried Stephen Murphy AKA smegg1980 from second place and given himself the breathing room of 16 points from third. It appears Sonny Walton AKA Sonman will have difficulty holding onto the top spot if Darren continues his rampage towards first place.
In further league news, Ben Reed AKA Benzilla has made a similar rise to the top half of the table. Benzilla has claimed 5th place, pushing Jay Buchanan down to 6th position. Benzilla is currently enjoying a good run of form after winning 7 of his last 8 games.
With the introduction of such talented players to the league, it goes to show nothing can be predicted at this early stage of the season. To join in on the action, simply register to XLEAGUE.TV, visit the league homepage and sign yourself up the FIFA 07 League. It’s not too late to test your skills for real.
Viewers of XLEAGUE.TV will be able watch Sonman showcasing his skills with other league members in televised FIFA 07 league games only on The Match, premiering this Saturday 30th June @ 7pm.

FIFA 07 News - Players battle on as Sonman stretches his lead
It’s been an unpredictable weekend in FIFA 07 for most of the table. The top three have yet to be unbalanced, with Sonny Walton AKA Sonman still leading with a seemingly unstoppable run of form, which begs the question; Is anybody able to provide a slide tackle to snatch the top spot?
Mark Taylor AKA Original Pingu, has been working hard in 4th place to close the gap on Jay Buchanan. He’s now only trailing by 2 points, and could find himself a title contender if he maintains his winning streak. Cameron Brown AKA Camo_Cam_Kills had a turbulent weekend reaching joint fourth place at the start, only to be knocked back to joint 7th by Sunday. It appears that gamers in the middle of the table are battling constantly to shoot higher up the league.
Think you can do better? League sign up is still open, and the gamers are waiting for your challenge. Signing up can be done simply by logging into your XLEAGUE.TV account, going to the league home page and clicking to join the FIFA 07 League.
Viewers of XLeague.TV will be able watch Sonman showcasing his skills with other league members in televised FIFA 07 league games only on The Match, premiering Saturday 30th June @ 10pm.
It’s that time again. One FIFA out, a new one in. “Look everyone, let this one collect dust and wait for the latest title”. People soon forget what they’ve been playing. Stick 06 on your PC now and it’ll feel completely different. It was only a year ago. But waiting for the new release is just that, waiting! What do you do in the meantime? Well, apart from download graphically enhancements to please your authenticity needs and ‘essential’ licensing agreement you have in your mind to avoid all that of which we don’t speak of that comes with little licensing, I’m over here in good old England creating what is and will be the most fantastic bit of gameplay you’ll get out of your 07 game!
World Evolution 4 is the most advanced of the lot. Sadly you’ll have to wait for it, but fortunately you’ll have it before FIFA 08™ hits the stores (and bloomin’ right too I hear you say). Players’ this is the most realistic simulation gameplay update by far for FIFA 07™.
What else could compliment the UK's largest gaming LAN event i31 other than a tournament so broad in scale that it involves over 1.3 million people worldwide, has a total prize fund of well over $450,000 and brings players from over 70 countries into one place?
The World Cyber Games is your answer and there isn't any other competition that can boast such impressive sounding stats.
The WCG is in its 7th tournament and every year the stakes are raised, the competition is hotter and the players are ever more thirsty for glory. As far as the UK is concerned the World Cyber Games start in June and July with qualifiers both online and around the country, both paving the way to the UK final this August at i31.
i31 will be hosting both qualifiers and the UK finals to decide which gamers deserve to represent our country at the Grand Final in Seattle this October.
Winners will be flown to Seattle and escorted throughout the entire event at the courtesy of the WCG worldwide sponsor, Samsung. If victorious they can expect some serious prizes - including a large wad of cash!
Even if you don't make it to the Grand Final, the experience of playing in such a huge tournament is one you can't miss out on. The glitz, glamour and adrenaline starts this summer at i31 - don't miss out!
A team from this site will also be there to meet you at i31 if you come along, what more could you want!
All you have to do to enter is upload your favourite FIFA 07/UEFA Champions League™ 2006-2007 goals at the Sweetpatch Soccer Skills Academy on Youtube and when you name the video just add the words "Goal of the Month for June 07 - " to the start of the name. FIFA 07 News - Sonman Steamrolls Competition To Take Lead
Sonny Walton AKA Sonman is enjoying the fruits of his hard labour, creating an 11-point gap at the top of the FIFA 07 Solo League. Sonman’s performances last night showing absolute dominance is leading the league with 28 points. Steven Murphy AKA Smegg1980 has held onto second place with Jay Buchanan chasing closely in third.
When asked to comment on his performance in the league Smegg1980 was hopeful that he could regain the top spot, but acknowledged that Sonman is “a strong player, who is very skilful and competition like this can only be good for the league”.
The competition is heating up with new members joining the FIFA 07 Solo League everyday, however it is still early days and the title race remains very open.
Viewers of XLeague.TV will be able watch Sonman showcasing his skills with other league members in televised FIFA 07 league games only on The Match, premiering Saturday 30th June @ 10pm.
FIFA 07 News - Outsider becomes the new XLeague TV title challenger
Sonny Walton AKA Sonman has rocketed into joint first place in the FIFA 07 Solo League. Sharing the top spot on 21 points with smegg1980, Sonman is enjoying recently a run of excellent form. Sonman's presence has opened up the league, which has already had its pre-season favourite ChrisyBullard stumble into joint 4th place.
Leading with 9 wins to 3 losses, his win average exceeds Smegg1980’s proving that Sonman could become a force to be reckoned with as the League progresses.
With the FIFA 07 league far from over, only time will tell who will reach the top. If you think you can contend with the likes Smegg1980 and Sonman, sign up now by clicking here.
Our partners over at FIFA 4 Fans have released an excellent Petr Cech Face Patch.
This patch contains a new face for Petr Cech, goalkeeper of Chelsea, wearing a rugby style headguard after his collision with Stephen Hunt's knee and leaving the keeper concussed with a fractured skull.
FIFA 07 News - XLeague TV Solo League has kicked off
The FIFA 07 Solo League has kicked off over at XLeague TV and Invitational Champion Chris Bullard is making a slow start. A string of poor performances has left the pre-season favourite struggling in joint 5th place.
It’s still early doors, but one win in four is a poor return for the Team Dignitas star. Plus, Bullard faces stiff competition from league leaders Smegg1980 and Jay Buchanan. Smegg1980 has built a formidable lead at the top with 21 points from 14 games, with Jay Buchanan close behind.

Well it's been another exciting vote this month in the May Goal of the Month Competition, with 2 goals running away with most of the votes, but in the end it was a fitting draw for first place between these 2 fantastic goals with 39% of the votes each - Nohopeinfear's superb flick up, swivel and volley by Marlon Harewood and Wallabaia's awesome long range volley by Roberto Carlos.
Well done guys and lets make June's comp even better! C'mon, keep getting those goals in to us!
After the mail reports about language problems (except English) with team names from Austria 2nd, Guatemala, Hong Kong and New Zealand, I have uploaded a hotfix that resolves problems with languages: it is the 4th part of the installer (system files) updated, so you can download just the 4th part again to resolve these issues with languages.
About the problem with the game hanging at the end of the season: I've tested personally that the game DOES NOT CRASH, it just needs about 5 minutes to calculate everything for the next season, so just have patience :)
You can find the 4th part updated in the Downloads page.
Seems that for some reason we forgot to put in the credits page one of our most important collaborator: Didicito, whose work has been precious and wonderful for more than one year: we're very sorry for the fault and I've modified the first page of the credits to include this precious and dear friend of the CEP project.
Hi everybody, I've been very out of the scene during the last month due to very personal duties: most probably will be hard that I will be able to return with all the time needed to be at chief of the CEP project for the future, so during these days I'm trying to read as many mails received as I can, working a bit on fixing some aspects of the CEP 4.0.
I will contact Esterry to check the possibility for a new kit-addon release and then we'll start organizing the work of the many updaters for the future Fifa 2008 version of CEP.
Most probably we'll try to convert the CEP in a VERY wide-open project, finding a way to make the database completely open and accessible through the Internet so we can share the work of the many CEP fans for better precision and capacity of updating.
Considering the huge dimension of the database of CEP I'm sure that all the community understands how is impossible to keep all this work updated without a wide collaboration of many football fans.
During these months I'll consider finishing the great Mini Heads update on which I was working before my long break.
See ya soon everyone on these pages for further updates. Ah, a quick note: I strongly suggest to try and use last NK gameplays for a better CEP experience ;)
A quick note about end-season freezing problem: the number of teams and players has grown so much that the game just needs more time at the end of season for its calculations: the game seems hanged but it's just calculating: give it about 5 minutes and everything should go ok.

I'm doing the last debugging processes on the CEP 4.0 db, and this will take at least another couple of days, but in the meanwhile I've uploaded in the Downloads section the first parts of the CEP 4.0 that are the assets (gui elements), and the zdatas: three easy installers that you can start downloading waiting for the final and most important one that will include the system and the db files. NOTE: you will not be able to play with CEP 4.0 without the fourth and last installer, that should be released during this week (most probably on 17/5).
After the full release of CEP 4.0 we'll upload the new CEP Kits Addon as some files changed during the CEP 4.0 realization and we want to be sure that the kits addon will be 100% compatible with the last version of the CEP. Anyway if you previously installed kits addon you will not have problem installing over it the CEP 4.0.
So go download in the appropriate section, waiting for the final part of the installer; you can check in the Status and Release pages which sort of stuff you will find inside this new effort from the CEP team.

The realization and the testing of the CEP 4.0 is completed and during the remaining days of this week I should be able to pack everything and upload as usual on Filefront. For this version you will find a more comfortable division of the files: they will be auto-installing exe divided by the "type" of files they containg: you will have an exe for assets stuff (the gui directory), an exe for the zdata, for the database stuff etc. so if you will experience some problems downloading a single file you will not have troubles downloading and installing the others.
Completing the CEP 4.0 we realized we were not able to include all the material elaborated, so we had to do a selection, even if a VERY wide one, of what to include: you will find the final decision about the new leagues, teams and tournaments both in the Status and in the Release4.0 release and 5.0 release in autumn has been motivated mainly by two reasons: 1) me and Esterry had much more things to do in the real life (personally, VERY important familiar things), and this did not allowed us to dedicate all the time we spent in the past on this hobby; 2) we had to face the fifa.fat limitation problem one more time, and the solution we thought about needs more work and the collaboration with other programmers to be implemented: this is why we delayed so much the release, and this is why we cannot include all what we wanted.
For the future of CEP, during these months, we gathered a very wide group of updaters: contributors who will help us updating the rosters and the information on players for each specific league, so we hope that the work for the future will be more fast and accurate as we are very near to complete the "creation" stage of the CEP project and for the future we will "just" have to update the teams that are already in the patch.
CEP remains anyway a FREE gadget for the Fifa users and we'll keep providing more material to make your fifa experience more and more complete, so as we'll keep considering it an hobby. Within some days I'll release an huge update for the Miniheads Addon covering more main leagues, while Esterry will surely go further with his Chants project. The release of the CEP 4.0 is scheduled withing the next 7 days and will be announced on these pages with the exact date and time: most probably you will have the possibility to join a chat during the hours before the official release to download the very first version of the patch and to shot your personal immediate feedbacks. I will up a temporary new forum too to report the debugging segnalations of the 4.0 release as we will not start a debugging phase.

Check out Jaimmmme's brilliant reproduction below in FIFA 07 of Messi's world class goal versus Getafe in the Copa Del Rey recently.
Now check out the real life video of the same goal (love the commentary!) and see how accurate Jaimmmme's reproduction actually was. Excellent work mate.
We would like to wish the team over at FIFA 4 Fans a very happy 6th birthday.
On May 1st 2001 FIFA 4 Fans went online, but originally with a completely different aim than it has today. Initially FIFA 4 Fans was merely a small webpage on which DaKaTotal wanted to offer his own downloads. But very fast FIFA 4 Fans became more and more a growing editing team which released recurrently new downloads for the FIFA 200x series.
After an online time of 2,191 days or 52,584 hours they can say proudly that FIFA 4 Fans has developed into one of the biggest FIFA pages worldwide and the biggest German FIFA editing page. More than 5.6 million visitors found their way to 'FIFA 4 Fans' - some years ago this had been an unimaginable number.
Well done guys and have a very happy birthday and we recommend you visit them regularly as they always have great files available to enhance your FIFA gameplaying experience.

Check out below a recent entrant with a great long distance volley from Joowatomato:
FIFA™ World Evolution 2 is a Simulation gameplay update for FIFA 07™ and UEFA Champions League™ 06-07. Built upon World Evolution, WE2 (World Evolution 2) is very much a new update and not simply a quick tweak. The realism has been enhanced using real video footage from live football matches to really capture the reality of the sport.
Not every game will be low scoring. Some matches will be high scoring, such as the Manchester United vs AS Roma blowout of 7-1. This is now possible. Yet some games will have low scores and chances won't come often. This is because of the new tuning set around ball physics, shot mechanics and cpu on all levels. You won't play the same game twice. Ball physics have been adjusted for improved deflections and air-balls. The ball bounce is more natural and the overall pace is more realistic still.
Download your copy of this excellent new Gameplay Update by clicking here.
Sorry for the delay in news, but I've been very busy at my work in this period. So, about the CEP: I'm keeping the work to import and adapt the dozens of contributions received, I'm organizing all the new leagues done by Esterry and from our new great collaborator Luca and I'm thinking about renouncing to the FULL list of leagues we wanted to add: simply it's just impossible to avoid delaying the release and having the time to test it if we want to include everything.
Most probably we'll keep working on importing and adapting for a 5.0 release to be placed in autumn, while I've decided to simply finish the work during this week for the release 4.0. Then I will need time to test, so the release date for 4.0 should be at mid May, I hope before.
In the meanwhile I have to notice how good Fifa 2007 is now with the new CEP and the new gameplay by NK that you should really test if you started finding the game too easy ;).
Stay tuned for more news and remember to write to fifaock@yahoo.it if you have question, doubts and contribution to submit.
An important note: we reached a very wide team of updaters so I hope the work for next versions will be more accurate and fast: if you want to join us as updater for next versions just write me the league of your interest.

Well its been another close vote this month in the March Goal of the Month Competition, with all of the goals being more than worthy of winning, but in the end it was a fitting draw (yes, another one!) for first place between 2 fantastic goals with 30% of the votes each - Wepeeler's superb lob by Robinho and zuigkonthoer's scissor surprise from Cantona.
Well done guys and now lets make April's comp even better guys! C'mon, get those goals in!

The update will have fantastically realistic ball physics and pace. And the cpu will be much more clinical for putting goals in the back of net. From fantastic goals, to beautiful crafted play to simply tapping the ball in. You will notice and feel the difference.
A match video is to be released later on. It'll show off the improved CPU and ball physics

The 1st half of the video is the original EA SPORTS™ gameplay, a full 4 minute 1st half between England and Brazil. Playing as England I have Brazil on the back-foot for pretty much the full half, creating chances and going 1 up real early in the match. The game didn’t feel fair, as though my defence wasn’t there from time to time giving the CPU an advantage they needed in order to make a shot on goal. Overall although fun in its way...not very challenging. I dominated possession and midfield play. It was difficult in its own way, but I didn’t feel it was for the right reasons. As though when required, the ball could be snatched from me, only for me to take it right back to the same place. A good example of this would be too watch out for where the CPU fouls me in the same place at the edge of the box, twice. There’s no real challenge, nor consistency from Brazil. I never felt like I had to try my best and this is BRAZIL we’re talking about!

World Evolution, NK's latest update, is truly a spectacular one! The games will stay at 0-0 for a long time and when you get that goal, you will feel very good about yourself! A way of putting this is, "The games are realistic, action-packed and very emotional" (quote by Tizmo).
The ball physics have been improved once again. The bounce of the ball is very realistic and when passing, the ball rolls very gently and smoothly.
The defence for both the CPU and the human player have been improved. The defenders for both position themselves really well, and it is hard to get through the defence. Accurate passing is needed here. Every once in a while, a pass will go through the defence and the struggle to get the ball away is very intense!
The goalkeepers are tuned once again and this is one of the reasons why the games stay pretty even. When you are on a one-on-one, no longer is it easy to score a goal, because the keepers are very agile and quick in their movements! The keepers occasionally make tremendous saves and you start to wonder, "How on earth did he save that?!?"
Corner kicks are very nice now! They give you lots of chances, but like in real-life, the corner kicks are headed away most of the time. However, if the corner kick is accurate, and one of your players heads the ball into the goal, you will feel very rewarded!
Crossing has also been tuned. Crosses will be better and nicer with better players and the ball curves really nicely! The crosses also offer a lot of possibilities.
The shooting has been tuned a lot and now, the quality of the shot will depend on the preferred foot of the player. If you pass from the left and a right-footed player shoots with his left foot, the chance of the ball going into the net is minimal. If the ball comes at a bad angle and a player does not shoot with his preferred foot, the ball may go way over the net, which happens a lot in real life. However, if the player gets a good chance to shoot with his preferred foot, you may be looking at an amazing goal! Occasionally you will get some really nice screamers and after that, you will feel REALLY good about yourself! NK says: "And remember guys, you'll have the option to install either default, learner or skilful shooting mechanics".
Like the previous updates, the learning curve is still there. You will have to get used to playing this update, and if it is too challenging, you might have to go down one difficulty level!
A new feature that is added with World Evolution is a revamped emotion-scale. Now, the crowd will react to everything you do. When you score an important goal, the crowd will go crazy! They will boo when you get a card or miss a penalty. This makes the game even more emotional and according to NK, "No longer are the games dull and lifeless". NK says: "Indeed guys, I am really putting in the effort to give you the most emotional and entertaining FIFA™ match possible. This truly is a step forward".
Once again, NK delivers an update that drastically changes your FIFA 07™ and UEFA™ CL 06-07 experience. You will not want to miss this!
Watch the match below, just for a side note, Tizmo told me this game was played on Professional difficulty level.
True Emotion! This will change the way you play the game, the goals you want to score and truly the games you want to destroy the other team! True Emotion increases crowd reactions and passion for practically every aspect of the game. Red cards, off-sides, missed chances, home goals, away goals, penalty kicks, everything. No longer is the game dull and lifeless when you think there should be passion, now there is!
Check out the full 8 minute match below between Real Madrid and Barcelona on world class using the new default shot mechanic. The first half gets interesting, but the second half is full of entertainment as will YOUR games be when you download World Evolution on Friday! Don’t miss this Sweetpatch exclusive. More media soon.
Default: Default shooting is installed by default with World Evolution. But you have the option to install the default shooting in case you want to revert back to it. It's challenging and offers a level of difficulty that most will find their playing level.
Learner: For those who want to enjoy the new ball physics and cpu difficulty, but find shooting too challenging to hit the target. For the more casual gamer. It's easier to keep the shot down and aim while not fully composed.
Skilful: Skilful shooting requires better composure and timing than Default shooting. You must really aim your shot to get it on target and because the shot isn't as accurate if it is going for goal, the keeper will save the shot easier with less trouble. Scoring using the Skilful shot mechanic is much harder
For a better idea, watch the new video below and see for yourself!
The work on gathering all the contributions received is at a good point. Many users mailed me the impossibility to download the CEP 3.0 that reached and impressive number of downloads (more than 50.000!): actually the file is no more available on file front and I don't know exactly why: probably some websites that are part of the CEP community have some mirrors so be sure to check them if you want that version of Career Expansion Patch. Anyway as I'm almost ready to release the new 4.0 version for complete I will not reupload the past version, so please just be patient for a couple of weeks more. Actually I have some major problems contacting Esterry who has the great part of all the new additions to the CEP, this is why we are actually at a dead point in the progress update. As my work doesnt allow me more to check and answer on the forums I've decided to delete them: I can receive your suggestions, comments and contributions my mail at fifaock@yahoo.it so be sure to write me if you have questions and proposals to do. Check out below an early entrant from our regular visitor and friend Steve Pitts:
First off, the shot mechanic is undergoing some work so that shooting will be more realistic. You'll be able to hit a good low drive and still have to be careful not to put too much power on the shot, or it'll fly over the goal. The CPU will be more realistic in terms of breaking them down and the types of goals you can score. For example, breaking the defence will be a harder challenge than in X-R, but when you do it will look more natural and feel more rewarding doing so. The top players' will also have a higher probability of converting the chance into a goal. So finishing will be more realistic also. Just so you guys know, keeping a shot low and powerful is the best way of beating the keeper, so quite obviously hitting this type of shot in the game, is very challenging to do
Goalkeepers are going to be harder to beat and more realistic in terms of reaction times and aggression. So you won't be seeing any super-human dives, but they can certainly protect between the posts and do their job.
Ball physics will be slower, giving the game a more strategic and tactical feel. Slower passes result in more challenge in building up the play for both sides. So winning the midfield battle is very much the key to creating chances, scoring goals and ultimately winning the match.
That’s all for now, check out the video below for a quick tease. More media to come soon.

No, the project is not dead or discontinued don't worry :) I just had personally more things to do during this month related to my real work so I did not have the time to dedicate myself to update the website on the progress of the work and I've almosted abandoned the forums; anyway I'm checking everyday the mail fifaock@yahoo.it where you can find suggestions, bugs fixing etc. and I'm gathering all your segnalations. During this period, if I did not have the possibility to work a lot on the CEP, the co-authors of this project, all the ones who dedicate their passion to this patch worked a lot, especially Esterry and brfifa07 produced really TONS of materials and we are now in the phase of gathering all the efforts produced to pack them in the 4.0 version, that will be the final version for Fifa 2007.
As happened for past year edition, anyway, this version is mainly the base for the first version of CEP for Fifa 2008 and this is why I decided to do not hurry the time of release, concentrating on adding new stuff and surprises since the next version. Very soon you will receive a detailed report of what is going on in the "CEP lab" with many incoming news that are coming to improve the offer we make to the thousands of CEP users. In the last days the CEP version 3.0 is not more available for some parts of it due to some problems with Filefront servers, as we are going to a release a brand new 4.0 I did not dedicated my self to fix this problem. About a release date for CEP 4.0 I think that a good possibility is the half of April, but you will receive before some more detailed news on this page about the many parts of the CEP project. See ya all ;)News Reporter:

The update is planned to be released in the next hour or so, please be patient. While you're waiting, here is some information on X-PRO
The shooting has been totally re-vamped to extreme levels of diversity. No longer will every shot be hit close to the goal and dangerous to the goalkeeper. Some shots will be very wide and sliced. By rushing a shot, you will most likely slice the ball and see crazy out-side curl that goes no way near the goal. The CPU also uses the same shooting, so there is no disadvantage. The game is very well balanced and goals are not by the plenty. You must work as a team to score and compose your strikers.
See which next generation soccer title hits the back of the old onion bank.
Grudge Match was created by IGN with the purpose of comparing two very similar titles in the same genre in categories ranging from graphics to AI. Much like an IGN Insider Head-to-Head feature, this series breaks down less of the technical aspects of videogames and takes more on an overall viewpoint in hopes of assisting readers with a purchasing decision.
For this installment in Grudge Match they focus on the recently released Soccer titles for Xbox 360: FIFA Soccer 2007 and Winning Eleven Pro Evolution Soccer 2007.

The update 3.2 for CEP 2007 is ready to be downloaded from the Downloads section of this website. This update requires CEP 3.0 full installed and contains tons of bugsfixing and additions based on the suggestions of the CEP community during these months. More than this the CEP 3.2 update features a massive rosters update including the transfers of the last winter market, new young talents etc. for the following leagues:
- Italy Serie A, Serie B, C1A and C1B - Germany 1. Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga - Spain Primera and Segunda - French Ligue 1 - Mexican Primera and Primera A (+new teams) - Brazil Serie A - Argentina Primera Div - England Premiership - England Coca-Cola Championship - Czech Gambrinus Lig - Scotland Premier League - Sweden Allsvenskan - Turkey Turkcell Lig
More than this you will find a new competition played during these months by national teams, the Arabian Gulf Cup and, most of all, a new incredible game modality: Road to South Africa 2010 in which you have to lead your national team from the qualification states to the final world tournament in South Africa! This 3.2 update is a quality improvement of the 3.0 version while the CEP 4.0 that will be released during this spring will represent the final revolution and expansion for the Fifa brand. You can find the 3.2 update in the CEP Downloads page.
WARNING! If your default language crashes after the 3.2 update be sure to delete the "Fifa 07" directory inside your "Documents and Settings". You have to restart any career after the update.

I would like to dedicate a special thank you to Nut for his exceptional assistance with making this all possible and improving the whole competition.
While the work on 4.0 release proceeds thanks to the huge work of Esterry (and you can check the process of the final release of CEP for Fifa 2007 in the status page and I'm sure you'll be impressed by the quantity of material elaborated and created..), I've decided to release a very detailed and complete winter market udpate for CEP, the update 3.2 that will require CEP 3.0 installed on your Fifa. This update will add some competitions to the game and, most of all, an EXTENSIVE and extremely detailed update with the last transfers of the winter market: this update will include the following leagues: Italian serie A, B, C1A and C1B, Germany 1 Bundesliga and 2 Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, English Premier and Coca-Cola Championship, Spanish Primera and Segunda, Argentina Primera, Brazilian Serie A, Mexican Primera and Primera A, Scottish Premier, Swedish Allsvenskan, Turkish League, Czech Gambrinus Liga: so a very huge update with the very last transfers, with the new young talents emerged during this season. The release for this update is scheduled for this weekend (10/11 February) so stay tuned for further infos on release.
For all the leagues updated with the 3.2 version I've gathered the pictures for the miniheads addon, so very soon we'll have another huge pack of miniheads for your game, making each player absolutely realistic and individual. We' ve received tons of contributions too and we are trying to select and organizing all the stuff received. In the meanwhile, for the CEP Chants Addon: Esterry release a new Chants Patch, version 1.3, that helps solving some problems with larger chants packs and with some languages incompatibility: you can find this patch and the infos on how to install it in the Chants section: of the website. The team of updaters for the CEP is taking form and very soon I'll realize a new section of the website including informations on this team and on how to contribute to the project.

Earlier on, it was the encouragements and assistance from people such as Matt Holme, Rox Stone, Rimo, Jochen Tree, Chris Davies, Joey Jones and a host of other people earlier in the piece that helped make FEd a success.
Then with continuing support from Matt Holme, Christophe and Angela Labrune, Jonathan Gallina, Marcel Kuhn along with the sharp analytical eyes of Jean-Michel Peyrou, Keegan and other users and testers, FEd evolved to CreationCentre and is still going strong.

Esterry released a set of three new chants packs for the CEP Chants Addon: this is the time of Germany 1. Bundesliga with three packs for a total of 400 mb (!) of chants, anthems and crowds for all the teams of the german first division! Go to download this wonderful sounds addons for your fifa in the Chants Addon section of CEP website.
In the meanwhile the work status has been updated deeply: mainly I'm working on the rosters update for the winter market, and at the same time to Miniheads addon (the teams updated receive miniheads during the update): the leagues to be updated with the winter transfers are the ones present in the original game together with the most important added, while the other will be updated in the summer period. In the meanwhile Esterry is organizing the tons of material received for the 4.0 release , creating new leagues and teams; another chief member has joined us with the responsability of southamerican football: he's Brfifa07, from Brazil, and we hope he will help the project as Esterry did during these months. About the releases dates: the 4.0 version will be the definitive one for Fifa 2007 and, most important, it will be the last CEP update adding something, after the 4.0 the work will be to update what we already have in the game (this is why we need good teams of updaters). I want to release a 3.2 update during the first 10 days of February with all the bugs-fixing segnalated, a lot of db contributions received and of course the update of the rosters with the transfers of this month.
Very soon we'll have a tutorial section here at CEP website performing video tutorials (mainly with Adobe Photoshop) showing how to realize kits, minikits, heads etc. starting from templates that I will provide personally: in this way I hope that more people will join us with their passion and their detailed contributions because everyone, just with passion, can improve the wonderful 2007 edition of the EA game. Stay tuned here on Sweetpatch and be sure to write by mail (fifaock@yahoo.it) your submission as updaters if you want to help us updating your favourite team/league!

Following the third month of the very popular Goal of the Month Competition, we selected 6 goals for you to vote on in the December Goal of the Month competition and the voting has now finished.
Well its been an extraordinarily close vote this month, with all of the goals being more than worthy of winning, but in the end it was a fitting draw for first place between 2 fantastic goals - Blaccat's wonder-curve shot by Rooney, and Nutunited's Rabona strike by Cristiano Ronaldo:
Thanks especially to everyone who voted! There were 19 more of you this month than last. I think we can safely say that this month has been the competitions most successful yet (mainly to the brilliant efforts or Nutunited and Wepeeler).
Now lets make January's comp even better than December's guys! C'mon, get those goals in!
To enter all you have to do is upload your favourite FIFA 07 goals at our Sweetpatch Soccer Skills Academy and when you name the video just add the words "Goal of the Month for January 07 - " to the start of the name. Then we can all easily identify the goals for the current month's competition and most importantly, we can all vote on our favourite goals.
To vote you need register in our Forums and subscribe to the Goal of the Month usergroup. You can then use the Poll at the top of this thread to cast your vote.
Urgent Help Needed to Complete World League 07 Patch
Ok guys, not had a situation like this before but I need your views on what we can do to help.
I have received a plea for help this week involving the excellent MonkeyDragon, who is currently finalising his excellent project - World League 07.
In MonkeyDragon's words:
"Excuse me but I need help from the FIFA community! My PC is damaged and I need to buy a new PC to continue working and complete the World League 07, but I have no money to do this ...I hope you can help me?"
Please can you post your views in this forum thread so we can try and help MonkeyDragon so hopefully we can see the World League 07 patch in action soon.
The Career Expansion Patch project, thanks to Esterry, brings you two more chants pack for the CEP Chants Addon section of our patch: this is the time of Portugal teams chants, in two parts. The first one, of about 72 mb contains chants for Academica Coimbra, Boavista Porto, Belenenses, Maritimo Funchal, Deportivo Aves, Pacos Ferreira, SC Braga and SC Beira Mar while the second, with 100 mb, has chants and anthems for FC Porto, Naval 1 Maio, SL Benfica, Sporting Lisboa, Uniao Leiria, Vitoria Setubal, Rio Ave FC, Leixoes, Gil Vicente and Vitoria Guimaraes. So jump to the CEP Chants Addon section of CEP to read the usual instructions and to download the packs you want!
The CEP offer of entertainment, as everyone can notice, is growing wider and larger, bringing to you improvements and expansions for every aspect of the game: for this season the satisfaction of the CEP team is greater thanks to the quality of the game that is more stable and finely realized being, in our personal opinion, the best football simulation ever realized: our sincere compliments to the EA, hoping that they will take in consideration a renewal of the poor database management system. In the meanwhile I've found a solution for the fifa.fat limitation that opens new limits for the growing of the CEP project: most probably we will start realizing heads packs for single teams in the immediate future that will improve much more the quality of the game. As always this will be possible only with the collaboration of the thousands of fan of the CEP project around the world that with their passion for football can help us bringing to the fifa community a product as complete as it's possible.
So it's time for new "recruitments" here at CEP project, a new brazilian friend most probably will join me, Esterry and Jose Delgado as "chief members" of the patch, doing a great part of the work, but we still need people who want to dedicate their time to this hobby: our doors are open to the editors who want to join us in this adventure: joining the efforts is the key to revolutionate this game. What we need now are:
1) Facemakers who want to collaborate to the project of CEP Face Packs: dynamic addons that the user can add and switch during the game (to avoid fifa.fat limitation) that contains faces for a single team: for example, I'm playing a career with Osasuna in Spain and I've realized all the 24 faces of the rosters, in a single addon: now that I'm playing with this team I'm using this pack, but I will switch to another one when I'll change the squad; and so I can "turn on" the Real Zaragoza face pack when I have to play against them and so on.. So, if you are a facemaker and want to collaborate with us just contact me at fifaock@yahoo.it: you can keep the downloads of your facepacks on your site/forum, I'll just pack them in a special format for a single team being compatible with the future Face Manager for CEP and link them on our downloads page.
2) Updaters for each country included in the CEP patch: with the 4.0 release we will stop adding leagues and teams, and so the work for the future will be just to update the rosters, the kits, doing the promoted teams etc. etc. But to do this in time and with success we need people able to send us updates about transfers, new young, new talents, physical appearances to change, abilities to increase/decrease websites to gather informations etc. The updaters can do this through Rinaldo's Creation Master, or just writing us mails, sending pictures and links, etc: They will be responsable for just one country (i.e. an updater for Belgium leagues, one for England divisions and so on) and they just have to assure their "work" during the summer period and on winter transfers. If we are able to create a group of stable updaters the level of quality of the CEP will be increased a lot. So I'm waiting for your candidations at fifaock@yahoo.it :)
FIFA 07 News - What is the best controller for playing FIFA 07?
I've noticed recently throughout the FIFA community a lot of discussions around which controllers are best for playing FIFA 07 on the PC.
We've researched it for you and the Logitech Rumblepad 2 Vibration Feedback Gamepad seems to come out top in your estimations. Some of the community feedback we found includes:
I'm using the Logitech Rumblepad 2. It is simply the best out there in the market for the PC!
The Rumblepad 2 controller (get the corded one rather than the cordless ... the cordless one is not worth the extra money + having to buy batteries every month);
I'll just add my weight behind the Logitech Rumblepad 2. I'll also second the opinion that a corded controller is the way to go. I bought a couple of cordless Thrustmaster controllers after having some success with their wired controller and they gave me nothing but trouble in comparison with the wired one.
So are you still using a standard gamepad? Then you're missing out on a whole extra dimension in gaming: vibration feedback. Grab the Logitech Rumblepad 2 Vibration Feedback Gamepad and feel what you've been missing. It uses not one but two vibration feedback motors, weighted differently and spinning independently, to let you experience every turn, bump, dip, and crash. And it feels great in your hands with its familiar button layout and all the controls you need to dominate.

Just a few hours after the release of the CEP Miniheads Addon, the CEP Team with Esterry is proud to present you the first pack of the long serie of audio addons featured by the CEP Chants Addon: this first pack includes the national anthems for all the 165 CEP national teams included in the Career Expansion Patch and we are uploading an incoming pack for the chants for 18 main national selections. Be sure to jump in the Chants section to read carefully how to install this addon and stay tuned on Sweetpatch CEP Homepage for further news and releases!
A little note for the ones who downloaded the CEP Chants patch in the previous hours: you have to redownload it in order to make Sound Master by Rinaldo fully compatible with the CEP Chants packs released by Esterry.
The first version of CEP Miniheads Addon has been released and is available on the Downloads page. This first release (1.0) adds 3500 miniheads to the game, covering the full rosters of Italian Serie A and B, German Bundesliga 1 and 2, Spanish Primera and Segunda and French Ligue 1; this addon is meant to be used with CEP expansion from the version 3.1 and upper (some of the miniheads will be showed correctly with the future 3.2 update): if you want to uninstall this addon just delete the directory "heads" inside data\gui as it's explained in the attached readme.
The Miniheads Addon is the first of the new conplementary projects to the CEP on which we are working on during this 2007: in the next days we'll be able to release the first part of the huge Chants Addon on which is working Esterry with great detail. In the meanwhile I've started the work on new 4.0 leagues and on the winter transfer updates: I think we will release a 3.2 version during the very first days of February with some market updates (only for the leagues already present in the original game, that will be the ones, each year, we will update with winter transfers too) and the final version 4.0 will be released during March. This 4.0 version for Fifa 2007 will contain the definitive number of leagues and competition that we want to implement in the CEP, so since the next season (Fifa2008), the work will be "only" to update the datas and to produce new "complementary" addons. As always you can check our Release section to see what it's planned for the future.

FIFA 07 News - Are you currently experiencing issues with FIFA 07 online play?
If you are currently experiencing issues with FIFA 07 online play, particularly if you're running Internet Explorer 7, then you'll need to manually patch the game.
You can obtain the files that are used to patch EA Sports Online from their ftp site and copy them into the correct folder to solve any issues with the automatic update that should occur when you log into FIFA 07 for the first time.
You can find full details of how to do this by clicking here.
