Please

Patch
of the Day is very MRA Compliant
Good news
if your are lovers of Chris Davies' and his teams PotD. Using
their default installation program I loaded the patch into my FIFA 2000/Leagues/PotD
directory and by just deleting the PotD Setup Files directory I was
able to use the PotD straight from the MRA without having to load another
version of FIFA 2000 just for PotD.
This principle can be used for all add-ons and patches for both FIFA 99 & 2000 and saves on having multiple installations of each game.
Well done boys - PotD is great!

Portuguese
Skins Required
I received a mail yesterday from Telmo
Lopes of Portugal requesting some Portuguese Skins.
If anyone is either from Portugal or is prepared to develop Skins specifically
for Portugal then Telmo and myself would be eternally grateful.
In preparation I have updated the official websites for Portugal.
Where I couldn't find official ones I have used known unofficial ones.
If anyone has any further information on the missing sites then please
contact me.

it would be a useful place for people to start placing their requests
for Skins to be developed. So if you have a Skin that you desire
then please put your request in the MRA
Forum and lets see if we can find people willing to develop them
for us.

to a new era for the MRA
Well,
my dream has come true. Here I find myself reporting for the
first time from the ranks of
Soccer Gaming. I am very honored to be part of a hard working
and dedicated team. Welcome to what I hope will be a very fruitful

Yep,
you've read it right. As previously reported, the FIFA-MRA will soon
be moving to be hosted under the Soccer Gaming Network. I am
extremely excited about this opportunity and am sure that everyone
will benefit from this partnership. I am looking to launch the
new site on Thursday evening, UK time and it will be at http://www.soccergaming.com/fifa-mra
Due to this exciting development I will also be delaying the release of MRA Skins and version 2.1 to coincide with the new launch of the site. I am sure it will be worth the wait!

site has been updated in preparation for the arrival of the MRA Skins
this week. We are currently awaiting on some feedback from our
testers to give us the all clear and then the MRA will be posted.

Support Issue Identified
It has
been brought to my attention that most of the updated leagues and
rosters for FIFA 2000 only have updated files for the user
directory. As most of the previous FIFA 99 files edited the
data directory aswell, through the use of Fed99, this was the
way the MRA validated a League file as being correct. The result
of this has meant that anybody trying to load in updated FIFA 2000
rosters with just the user directory using the MRA will not
have been able to. The short term fix to this problem is
to create an empty data directory. This will be addressed
in the next version of the MRA due out this week. Sorry for
any inconvenience this may have caused.

Success of Version 2
This site has gone wild since version 2 of the MRA was
released. It has been downloaded over 2500 times now! Hopefully this
is a sign that it is a useful utility for you all and everything is
working ok.
