Extreme World Roster Update

Steven Grbavac's latest project is the Extreme World Roster Update v1.0 which will include (all his own teams work!):
  • updated rosters for all club teams plus new selections for many international teams
(the rosters add even the unknown reserve players e.g. Aston Villa is going to have Jonathan Bewers, Thomas Hitzlsperger, John McGrath, Stephen Cooke and Neil Cutler! Plus more players should be added for every English team!)
  • updated gameplay patch using the AI Settings from FEd2001
  • new formations and line-ups for many club and international teams
  • renamed leagues eg. England is now FA Carling Premiership and Italy is now Seria A
  • debugged the popular "Rest of World" section and that also includes that rosters and line-ups
  • all teams and players will have realistic ratings
  • texture.big file that will make the jerseys much more realistic (2GK)

This patch should be out by late May if not sooner and sounds excellent.

Fifa 2001 Popup Toolbox Update

Hi Fifa players, I'm back from my holiday in Morocco which was brilliant and I came back just in time for the released of Fed2001 and the release of v2.02 of the Fifa 2001 Popup Toolbox.

The Popup Toolbox is the only Fifa 2001 popup editor around. It allows you to edit the popups in the game, including the scoreboard, penalty shoot-out screen, stats screens, lineups etc. This update fixes many previous bugs in the program. To get the update - or the program itself visit your-tools.com

If you wish to contact the maker email David Rogers by clicking here.

Sweet Music to my ears

Today sees the start of a brand new feature at the site where we are looking to encourage musical artists to present their work to the world.

As part of this opportunity we have also partnered with Fifamania to provide the excellent Music Manager by Fabio Bresciani to allow you to convert MP3 files into the correct format to be included in your Fifa games. Music Manager also enables you to manage your many music files and to select which ones you would like to include in your game.

To start this new feature we have 2 excellent songs for you:

  • Night in the Benz by Mike Kasal - Mike is in a band with Joe from Soccer Gaming and has just started to record his own songs. I have heard a few and they are excellent. Today we have his first instalment for you - more to come soon.
  • RedKola's excellent MRA Theme Tune - I'm sure you all remember this, if you don't go grab your copy as it is still as fresh and vibrant as the first time I heard it

How excited am I?

Very is the answer. As we reported recently, the next version of the MRA will make every patch in the world ever developed for your Fifa games MRA Compliant! You will even be able to patch files straight into your Fifa game if that is your required option.

I have been testing this new feature tonight and I also realised that this actually enables a patch developer to place all the files updated for their patch in a zip file and the MRA will sort it into the correct directories for you ready to be included in a setup.exe or a zip file for distribution as the patch.

This is a massive break through for the Sweetpatch MRA utility and will now ensure that any patch or file can be installed where you like. Keep an eye here for all the latest news regarding this new release which should be available within the next couple of weeks.

Please post your views on this new feature below this article.

Fifa Liga Manager Beta Released

Good news today as Fifa 4 Players released the Beta Version of their big FLM (Fifa Liga Manager) programme. This programme was written completely in Perl and works with CGI. Its task is it to handle a complete Fifa online gaming league. The webmasters of the league just have to add the teams which participate in the league and then fill in the results. The programme automatically creates the schedule, generates the correct league rankings and even generates a list of top scorers.

Furthermore you can apply your whole webpage design, just by copying the html text and adding it into a textfield. The Beta Version of FLM is just 30 kb, but to use it, you must have a CGI Directory on your webserver and Perl must be installed too. Also the installation of the programme itself is very simple. For complete details of the patch and a download path to the patch click here - it's completely free.

To contact the creator of this program - Dominik Weber you can email him here or ICQ him on ICQ#:74366840. I'd just like to add to that I think this program is a very good invention and it may be used in the Sweetpatch MRA tournaments. Well done Dominik.

Feel free to take a look at our patch official site: http://www.fifala.com/libertadores.

Plus we have also made a partnership with the official page of the Copa Libertadores: www.conmebol.com so you can expect all the official logos and graphics in the "Copa Libertadores 2001".

Fifamania Announce Napoli G3 Plus Stadiums and Flag Position Editing

Rimo at Fifamania has informed me that a new era for stadiums is upon us. After G2 and G3 stadiums there is now G3 Plus stadiums. This new format allows the flag positions to be edited also (see screenshot at below). Now you can see for the first time on the web, flags moved from their original positions. The flag editing utility is already ready and available at Fifamania.it, this also allows the editing of the cameramen, benches and other minor details.

This sounds like a really cool program and will make the stadiums even more realistic and fun to play in. Take a look at the screenshots below.
